Description : Delhi Public School, Eldeco organized an Inter House Debate Competition on 30th August, 2019 in the school premises. The competition was graced with the kind presence of the Principal, Dr. Deepti Dwivedi and the Judges - Ms. Rupa Laheri and Ms. Rinku Banerjee. Passing the levels of auditions, the astound participants were selected. These gems were given the topic "Age to vote should be lowered? Yes or No." to debate. The speakers put up their point of views with such a grace that the judges were highly impressed. The children performed remarkably in the Rebuttal round, where they were maintained the stand of their view. The judge, Ms Rupa Laheri was galvanized by the awe-inspiring and thought provoking point of views on the topic. She acknowledged all the participants and promoted the audience to be the part of the competition and explore their knowledge. Though it was a real tough job to choose the best, but it is the rule of the play to acknowledge the best. So the Principal declared Eeha Bhat( class VII ) of Bluebell House as the Best Speaker, Shivangi Pandey ( class VIII) of Daffodil House as the first runner up, followed by Plaksha Towari (class VI) of Bluebell House as the third runner up. The Principal and the judges were extended a sapling as a token of love. The programme was such a great success that the Principal appreciated the effort made by all the participants along with their teachers.
